Cy3 is a pH 4 to pH 10 insensitive probe with an absorption and emission spectrum nearly identical to that of Alexa Fluor® 555, CF® 555 dye, or any other Cyanine3-based fluorochrome. Its excitation peak is well suited for 532 nm or 555 nm laser lines.
