Bromoacetamide-PEG2-BocAmine linker contains a Boc protected amine and a bromoacetamide. The protected amine can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to form a free amine that can be conjugated to a carboxylic bearing biomolecule. The bromoacetamide is well know lysin and thiol labelling group due to the excellent leaving tendency of the alpha bromo. The PEG spacer increases the aqueous solubility of the resulting compound.
