APDye 633 Picolyl Azide is a bright and photostable far-red fluorescent probe with nearly the same spectrum as Alexa Fluor® 633, DyLight® 633 or CF® 633 dyes that incorporates a copper chelating motif to enhance the reactive site The effective concentration of Cu(I) increases the efficiency of the CuAAC reaction, resulting in faster and more biocompatible CuAAC labeling, and its excitation is well suited for 633 nm or 635 nm laser excitation sources. APDye 633 Picolyl Azide is water soluble and pH insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. APDye 633 Picolyl Azide’s combination of excellent brightness and very low autofluorescence background signal in most biological samples in the far-red spectral region enables very sensitive detection of alkyne-labeled biomolecules.
