Alkyne-polysarcosine150 (alk-polysarcosine) is a lipopeptide conjugate of the endogenous amino acid sarcosine (N-methylated glycine), with an average of 150 sarcosine units. As a polymer, pSar combines excellent properties such as water solubility, protein resistance, low cytotoxicity, and non-immunogenicity similar to PEG, and has strong stealth properties of endogenous materials. It is considered a potential alternative to polyethylene glycol (PEG).
