Description
2-Amino-1,3-bis(t-butoxycarbonylethoxy)propane contains an amino group with two terminal carboxylic acids. The amino group readily react with carboxylic acids and activated esters to form amide bond. It can also react with carbonyl groups such as ketone and aldehyde under reductive amination condition to form C-N bond. The terminal carboxylic acids canreact with primary amine groups in the presence of EDC, DCC, HATU and other coupling reagents to form stable amide bonds.
