Sulfo-NHS-LC-Biotin is a medium-length, water-soluble biotinylation reagent containing a linker with a sulfo-NHS group and a biotin moiety, used to label antibodies, proteins, and other molecules with primary amines. Sulfo-NHS is capable of controlling and modifying carbodiimide crosslinking reactions, including activation of carboxylates for binding to primary amines. Biotinylation can react with amine molecules in the presence of the activator EDC or HATU.
