Description
Mal-amide-PEG3-CH2 NHS ester linker contains a maleimide group and an NHS ester. The PEG spacer increases the aqueous solubility of the resulting compound. The NHS ester can be used to conjugate with amine containing proteins, oligonucleotides, and other molecules. The maleimide group reacts specifically with a thiol group to form a covalent C-S bond, enabling the bioconjugation with a thiol bearing molecules.
